Foam Rolling has EVOLVED.
Foam rollers are repurposed construction materials with many limitations for myofascial release.
The Deep Tissue Roller® solves problems inherent in the foam roller, a simple and elegant solution. For 25 years I have used foam rollers with my clients, as a result I’m acutely aware of their limitations.
Leverage
Using leverage the Deep Tissue Roller® doubles the force applied to the device while squeezing your forearm or calf. This feature is the core of our patent and cannot be copied. Forearm/Calf work has never been this effective or easy. Use it on the ground to pour your entire body weight into the device, or on a desk as seen here for convenience and ease of use.
Neck
The two rollers cradle your neck, releasing your fascia as you relax your head. Bring them closer for deeply penetrating fascia relief while avoiding the bony spinous processes down the midline of your neck. Try THAT with a foam roller! There is no comparison.
Hamstrings
The Deep Tissue Roller® teases apart the three hamstring muscles. Deeper, more effective and easier to pour your weight into than foam rollers; their broad contact point and large size makes it difficult to transfer weight, keeping them superficial. Try it sitting on your couch or in your office chair for convenience & ease of use.
IT Band
By working on the margins of the IT Band where the fascia is thinner, there is much less pain. The blades of the rollers are smaller, to mimic the elbows of a deep tissue therapist. Foam rollers use broad pressure that targets the IT band directly, creating more pain & less change. Cradle your IT Band with the Deep Tissue Roller® for less discomfort and more effective fascial release.
Myofascial Release
The Deep Tissue Roller® adapts to any size anatomy with a quick width change using the rope lock. The rollers float on the rope while in use, adapting to your unique body contours. Our engineers perfected the patented design after years of real-world testing. Foam rollers were developed for use in construction, it’s time to switch to a purpose driven design.
Upper Back
The two ridges of the Deep Tissue Roller® penetrate soft tissue along the spine. Like the two elbows of a massage therapist diving into the fascia of your upper back. No bony contact is made at the spine for superb tension relief. Foam rollers put pressure on the bony areas, this is not ideal for myofascial release.
